How we show up:
"When the path gets steep and the air gets thin, pace and situational awareness matter, along with character and who you trust to move with you. We bring that same discipline to high-stakes work, helping you navigate difficult terrain without losing sight of what matters most,"
Andrea Delgado, Founder & Principal.
For leaders who need clarity, alignment, and decisions that can stand up to scrutiny.
Collectively, we bring nearly forty years of experience as trusted leaders, advisors, and confidantes to executives across sectors, including the White House, federal agencies, Tribal governments and Native-led organizations, nonprofits, unions, and community-based organizations. We help leaders navigate complex challenges, drive organizational change, and deliver high-impact strategies and policies.
We help leadership teams navigate moments of unprecedented change, clarifying direction, aligning stakeholders, and turning strategy into executable action. Collectively, we bring nearly four decades of experience advising at the highest levels, including service on a presidential transition team, a White House advisory council, and work with federal land management agencies at USDA and DOI, national nonprofits, unions, and grassroots organizations during administration transitions, election cycles, and cultural shifts. Our expertise also encompasses work with community and economic development organizations, Tribal economic and rural community finance, including access to capital. We build practical roadmaps, establish decision clarity, and help teams implement the structural, cultural, and accountability shifts required to deliver results.
Whether working with Tribal Nations, communities, worker organizations, or government agencies, we help leaders turn ambitious policy goals into meaningful and durable results.
We've advised the White House, as well as Cabinet and sub-Cabinet officials, senior executives across sectors and advocates, on strategies that shape policy, drive implementation, and bring resources to underserved communities.
We bring deep experience navigating government processes, building coalitions, and designing advocacy campaigns that deliver tangible impact.
We help leaders and organizations strengthen relationships with Tribal Nations and Native-led organizations through respect, trust building, and clear commitments. Our work has enabled wildfire resilience efforts, Tribal co-stewardship of public lands, electrification across Indian Country, return of ancestral homelands to tribal stewardship, Section 105(l) leasing, long-term agreements and 638 contracts that honor sovereignty and deliver tangible benefits on the ground.
We coordinate alignment across federal, state and Tribal partners, as well as NGOs, foundations and the private sector. We bring experience managing Cabinet-level priorities across agencies, sectors and jurisdictions so that policy, funding, capacity building and messaging move in sync, especially when timelines are tight and public pressure is high.
We help organizations and leadership teams navigate tense or high-stakes workforce issues, including compensation, safety, working conditions, and union relations, and move toward sustainable solutions. Our expertise includes shaping national reforms for agricultural workers and wildland firefighters, and supporting executives through active labor challenges. We've worked alongside labor leaders and senior management, so we understand both sides of the table.
For leaders who are committed to measurable outcomes, responsible stewardship of land and resources, and work that reduces risk, promotes prosperity, and advances legitimacy in the eyes of the most impacted communities.
As former Chief of Staff for the USDA Natural Resources & Environment Mission Area and a Deputy Regional Forester (Rocky Mountain Region) overseeing timber, renewable resources, safety, fire, fuels, and aviation, Delgado has worked with Tribes, conservation groups, land management agencies, state forestry departments, and the timber/forest-products industry. We know first-hand the tensions of managing multiple-use landscapes. We advise leaders on forest health and resilience, wildfire risk reduction, and responsible natural-resource management. Having helped shape multibillion-dollar federal wildfire risk reduction investments, we help organizations design strategies that protect natural resources while meeting operational, political, cultural and community needs.
Whether it’s protecting children, workers, or neighborhoods facing the greatest exposure and risk, we partner with government, community groups, Tribes, NGOs, labor, industry, and elected officials on both sides of the aisle to reduce risk and deliver practical solutions that benefit everyone. Our expertise also includes rural and Tribal economic and community finance, Native CDFIs and capital access, and impact fund and grantmaking design for Indian Country.
For teams looking to overhaul or strengthen policy, funding, and program design, not as messaging but as practice, we help leaders and organizations target resources and build accountability around who is centered, who benefits, and how.
When things are "on fire" (politically, culturally, or operationally).
We partner with you to identify strengths and gaps, who needs to be at the table, why they matter, and what they need to see to stay engaged. We can help you build engagement strategies that anticipate friction, surface shared interests, and keep partners aligned over the course of complex initiatives or public-facing work.
We support leaders across sectors in managing crisis conditions without losing control of the mission. In high-stakes moments, we draw on Incident Command System (ICS) training, cultural competency, and field experience to give teams clarity of roles, responsibilities, and communication discipline so issues are stabilized, leaders stay aligned, and work stays on track.
We facilitate high-stakes conversations when something is stuck, tense, or heading toward escalation. We can help you create a space where dialogue is rooted in trust and psychological safety to clarify points of contention, and help leadership teams move through discomfort toward decisions you can implement, and stand behind.
