April 7, 2026: Buffalo’s Fire recently reported on the historic shared stewardship agreement between the U.S. Forest Service and Great Sioux Nation Tribes for the Black Elk Wilderness in the Black Hills. March 25, 2026: Hawk Eye Strategies, LLC Founding Partner Andrea Delgado, was interviewed by Yvette Fernandez to discuss findings from a report co-authored by our team on the loss of scientific expertise across the West.
After reviewing federal workforce data, Hawk Eye Strategies, LLC and Prospect Partners LLC found that Western states lost more than 550 scientific and specialized positions last year. These included entomologists, fish and wildlife biologists, hydrologists, and other experts whose work helps communities reduce risk, protect natural resources, and make informed decisions.
March 3, 2026: Hawk Eye Strategies, LLC was featured in the Arizona Daily Sun, where reporter Sam McLaughlin highlighted our insights on significant public lands workforce losses across the West (Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming).
